SoWork and gather town both offer support for their users, but they differ greatly in the way this is achieved.
In SoWork, you're able to talk to someone on their customer support team, get email support, live chat support, and they can even come into your office for any urgent support needs and troubleshooting. Their live chat response time is impressive, and they're around from 9AM-5PM ET Monday to Friday. It's quite clear that SoWork prioritizes fast, high touch customer support. You're even able to walk right into their office and talk to their founders! Crazy, right?
In gather town, their support format is via contact form and email inquiry, so their response time is much slower. They guide you toward submitting a help ticket for general inquiries, billing issues, technical problems, and any other assistance or feedback. You can also set up a meeting with a sales or support rep.
All in all, both products have extensive Help Center pages, where how-to guides cover most of their features. It's clear, however, that SoWork prioritizes their customer support more than gather town. This is evident when you look at their easy access to support in-app (within two clicks), and the way they direct you to their live chat if your questions aren't resolved after reading a Help Center article. In gather town, you'll still be able to get your questions answered and give your feedback, but the process will take longer to get what you need.
How to Contact the SoWork Support Team From Within the App
✨ First, while in your office, click on the Get Help button in the bottom right toolbar (denoted with the ? icon).
✨ Then, select the Talk to Us area.
✨ After that, a chat window will open in Intercom, and you'll be able to click the Send us a Message button to start a conversation with a Support Team member.
